COMETS ANNOUNCE PROMOTIONAL NIGHTS

The Comets announced their promotional schedule today, naming six special game dates for this 2021-22 season.

  • Saturday, Feb. 12th will be the Comets annual Pink Game, where Comets players will wear special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game with proceeds benefiting The Ali Kemp Educational Foundation. Before the game, The Ali Kemp Educational Foundation will be holding a self-defense class on the Comets turf for women of all ages. Any women wanting to participate in the self-defense class will be given a complimentary ticket to the match that night against the Chihuahua Savage.
  • Friday, March 4th will see the return of the Comets Celebrity Game with recognizable folks from the world of sports, news and entertainment in Kansas City will be participating in a special halftime match. The coaches/managers for each team will be Comets’ game emcee, Mix 93’s Steve Serrano and Comets’ play-by-play man, Fox 4’s Nick Vasos.
  • Friday, March 11th, the Comets will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Kansas City Attack. The Comets players will be wearing replica uniforms from the 1991 Attack team. Fans will be able to bid on the player jerseys during an online auction, and also be able to purchase their own jersey at the Comets merchandise booth in the arena concourse. Former Attack stars will be featured and recognized at halftime and ceremonial first kick.
  • Sunday, March 20th is the return of the annual Comets Mascot Game. All of your favorite characters from the local sports teams and KC-area businesses will be participating in a fun match at halftime. This game is always a favorite with the kids!
  • Saturday, March 26th the Comets players will be wearing replica jerseys of the very first iconic rainbow Comets jerseys worn when the team arrived in 1981. Fans will be able to bid on the player jerseys during an online auction, and also be able to purchase their own jersey at the Comets merchandise booth in the arena concourse. Former Comets stars will be featured and recognized at halftime and ceremonial first kick.
  • Finally, on Sunday, April 4th, the Comets will host their annual Military Appreciation Game, where Comets players will wear special military-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game with proceeds benefiting Team Fidelis, a KC-based charity whose mission is to prevent suicide among veterans, active service members and their families.
