COMETS HOME OPENER TONIGHT AGAINST AMBUSH

The Comets will host the St. Louis Ambush tonight in their 2021-22 home opener following their 6-4 win in St. Charles at The Family Arena last night. The Comets and Ambush will compete their home-and-home series and still have four more meetings during the season. Game time is 6:00 pm.

Each team held a lead at some point during last night’s match and the game featured four ties and was even until midway through the final quarter.

He needs five goals to hit 200 MASL career markers, 12 assists to reach 200 assists, and he is 17 point away from an incredible 400 points in his career. He is the league’s all-time points leader and tops in assists as well.

After tonight’s game, the Comets are on the road to face the Dallas Sidekicks before returning home on December 19 against Baltimore and December 29 against Milwaukee.

The Comets will face St. Louis next on Friday January 14 at The Family Arena. Saturday March 26 will find the Comets at home in the first of two games that weekend. As the season began, it will al-so end with the Comets and Ambush in a home-and-home series on April 2 & 3.
