Comets Open Tryouts Day 2 Recap
The Comets wrapped up Open Tryouts on Sunday morning with 22 players from the original 46 being invited back from Saturday’s contest. After nearly an hour of stretching and conditioning drills, the players competed in four, 15 minute periods for one last chance to showcase their skills to the Comets coaching staff for the ultimate invitation to the Comets training camp later this fall/winter.
Of the players competing in Sunday’s tryouts, the following 15 people were invited to Comets training camp:

“This was by far the most competitive camp we’ve ever had in 11 years,” said Comets Head Coach, Leo Gibson. “The talent that we saw this weekend was impressive, and I am excited to see how the guys we’ve invited back do at camp.”
