INDEPENDENCE, MO – The MASL has released the 2022-23 season schedule and for the second consecutive campaign, the Comets and St. Louis Ambush will kick things off with a home-and-home match-up dubbed the I-70 Series. The Comets swept the opening series by scores of 6-4 and 11-6 on their way to winning the Central Division title last season.

This season, the MASL will consist of two divisions with the Comets competing in the East with the Ambush, Baltimore Blast, Utica City FC, Harrisburg Heat, Florida Tropics, and Milwaukee Wave. The playoff format and tie-breakers will be released in the coming weeks.

In addition to the home opener at Cable Dahmer Arena on November 26, St. Louis will appear twice more with games in December and February. The Florida Tropics, who won the Eastern Division Crown and advanced to the 2022 Ron Newman Cup Finals will be here on February 10 and March 18.

The Milwaukee Wave will be making three trips to compete on the blue turf, on December 11, January 21, and February 26. Opponents you can see one time at Cable Dahmer Arena include the Monterrey Flash (December 29), who will be returning to action following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Tacoma Stars (January 7), the Baltimore Blast (March 11), and the Harrisburg Heat (March 26).
