Kansas City faces the Mississauga MetroStars for the first time at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena, and only the second time overall. The Comets have won four of their last five matches, with the only loss coming last Friday against the St Louis Ambush.

GAME NOTES - Comets vs MetroStars

The team bounced back with a convincing win last Sunday against Utica City FC. In that game defender James Togbah led the way with a 3 goal, 1 assist effort. That performance landed Togbah on the MASL's Team of the Week.

The MASL's newest team is currently on their first swing through the South Central Conference, having played the Milwaukee Wave last night.

In a tough battle that came down to the very end, the MetroStars were unable to come through with the victory. Goalkeeper Adrian Becic was the star of the game for Mississauga, turning away 21 of the 26 shots he faced.

The MetroStars are led offensively by Mo Babouli. Although a rookie in MASL, Babouli once played for Toronto FC of MLS. He currently leads his team in Games Played (10), Goals (11), Points (16) and Blocks (19).
