KANSAS CITY (Feb. 25, 2019) – The Kansas City Comets announced today that they have released goalkeeper Brett Petricek from their roster, effective immediately.

Petricek played in 11 games this season for the Comets, finishing his stay in Kansas City with a 5-6 record and a 6.13 goals against average.

“Brett is a great goalkeeper and we certainly had high hopes for his time in KC,” said head coach Kim Roentved. “For the best interests of the player and the club we felt it was best to mutually part ways.”

Following yesterday’s win, the Comets sit in second place and will host the Harrisburg Heat on Sunday, March 3 at 4:05 p.m. CT. Tickets are available at KCComets.com or Ticketmaster.com.
