RAMONE PALMER CLEARED TO PLAY

KANSAS CITY (July 13, 2020) – The Kansas City Comets announced today that longtime forward, Ramone Palmer, has been to cleared to play in the 2020-2021 MASL season. Palmer was ineligible for the entirety of last season due to visa issues. Palmer is under contract with the Comets through the 2021-22 season.


The Kingston, Jamaica native and Park University product has played five seasons in the MASL, four with the Kansas City Comets. Palmer last played during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring 14 goals and seven assists.


“I am glad the wait is over,” said Comets Head Coach, Leo Gibson. “Ramone is only going to make us better.”


“I am excited to finally be cleared and back with the Comets,” said Palmer. “I can’t wait for the season to get here so that I can get back to training with my teammates and working towards a championship.”


The Kansas City Comets 2020-21season kicks off this winter at Cable Dahmer Arena (formerly Silverstein Eye Centers Arena).
