Reget called up to U.S. Futsal National Team

ATLANTA, Ga. — Kansas City Comets forward Zach Reget has been selected for the 18-player November camp for the United States Men’s Futsal National Team, running Nov. 3-8 at the Georgia Power Court at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, Georgia.

This domestic camp marks Reget’s return to the U.S. Futsal National Team, having made his national team debut at the 2021 Concacaf Futsal Championships in Guatemala.

Reget returns to the U.S. Futsal National Team for the first time under head coach Hernán Garcias, who included seven total players currently under contract with MASL clubs. Garcias, who was named head coach in June, will be assisted by former U.S. Futsal National Team players Diego Burato and Diego Moretti.

The Kenosha, Wisconsin native has tallied 278 points in 167 games throughout his eight seasons in the MASL, and was a co-winner of MASL's Golden Boot in the 2023-24 season. Reget has scored 94 of his 182 career goals in a Comets uniform, and will add to that tally after signing a two-year extension with the Comets to keep him in Kansas City through the 2027-28 season.

The upcoming camp is part of the U.S. Soccer Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for the Extended National Teams – including the Futsal Nationals – to ensure they are fully prepared to compete and succeed on the world stage.
