Roster Update

The Kansas City Comets have announced that Mirko Sandivari, Nick McDonald, Odaine Sinclair and Josue “Sway” Mazon have been placed on trade waivers.

Sandivari has been with the Comets since 2017, helping the organization to two consecutive semifinal appearances in the Ron Newman Cup Playoffs and the Central Division title last season. The defender tallied 10 goals and 14 assists in 73 games for the Comets.

Similar to Sandivari, McDonald helped the organization to back-to-back semifinal appearances and the Central Division title last season. McDonald played in 31 games, recording nine goals and 11 assists with the Comets in four seasons.

Sinclair played in eight games this season in his return to the Comets after several years away. Mazon did not make an appearance with the Comets after the goalkeeper had previous stints with the St. Louis Ambush and Orlando SeaWolves.

“We appreciate what all four players have contributed to the Comets organization,” said Comets managing partner Brian Budzinski. “Mirko and Nick were members of our MASL Semi-finalist roster the last two years and that’s important to recognize. We wish all of them the best of luck in the future.”

All four players have been given permission to contact any MASL team to negotiate a potential trade and contract.
